once the client has accepted our quotation and a start date is agreed on, we move in with the heavy stuff and start the deconstruction in order to get to the creation stage. Often the client will have small changes of plan as they warm to the project and we always try to accommodate them, offering advice and our own input if it is desired. Because the creation stage can involve a certain permanancy in regard to the laying of concrete footings, walls, paving etc, it is important that plans for all related and affected sub-projects, such as electrical distribution, drainage, lighting, are finalised. This is a very exciting stage for us as well as the client, as the design takes shape and materialises.
Construction is usually the more costly part of a project. For a smaller garden project, involving up to three materials, eg turf, paving and gravel one should budget for £2,000 upwards
